All About Mrs. D'Alessandro
Hello, Families! I am excited to be your child's fifth-grade teacher this year! I am passionate about helping children develop a love of learning and guiding them as they navigate academic, social and emotional challenges.
This is my eighth year teaching, and my fourth year with Mentor Schools. I have taught Kindergarten and first grade, and for the past two years I served as an instructional coach at Orchard Hollow Elementary. As an instructional coach, I was afforded the opportunity to attend numerous professional development workshops, work alongside experienced educators, and teach students at all grade levels K-5.
I live here in Mentor with my husband Arthur, our baby girl Gianna, and our two dogs Bella and Molly. I enjoy spending time with my family when I'm not teaching.
I look forward to getting to know you and your child this year! I strongly value parent-teacher communication. Please don't ever hesitate to reach out to me at any time with questions or concerns. You can email me at [email protected], or call the school at (440)255-4212 and leave a message for me. Additionally, I will post pictures and updates via our classroom Twitter account @MrsDBellflower5. We're going to have a great year!

All About Miss Vidmar
Hello Bellflower Families and welcome to Fabulous Fifth Grade! My name is Miss Vidmar and I will be your child's long-term substitute for the beginning of the 2017-2018 school year. As many of you know, I worked at Bellflower Elementary last year teaching long-terms in both third and fifth grade. I am very excited to be back in fifth grade again!
I graduated from Baldwin Wallace University in May, 2016 with my Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education and I am currently studying to obtain my Reading Endorsement from Heidelberg University. While in college, I volunteered with many organizations such as Habitat for Humanity and Office of Community Outreach. In addition to studying and volunteering, I was also a student-athlete on the Varsity Women's Golf team. During my sophomore year of college my team won our OAC PAC championship tournament. As a result of winning, we then flew to Florida to compete in the NCAA National Championship.
I look forward to helping your child to grow this year into strong learners both inside and outside of the classroom. I encourage you to stay updated on our classroom activities and to be active in your child's education. Please do not hesitate to contact me! My e-mail is [email protected] and my twitter account is @missvidmar. As always thank you for your help and support.
